Each staff member at the practice brings with them their own unique and varied expertise from the dental industry. Jin, the principal dentist, has a wide range of interests and knowledge in all aspects of dentistry.
We do understand that a visit to the dentist for many people is often an uncomfortable and stressful time. Our aim is to make it as easy and efficient for you as possible. We also enjoy providing a positive early experience for the younger members of your family as well.
Jin Chan completed her Bachelor of Dental Surgery at the University of Sydney in 1988. After graduation she worked as a staff dentist at the Brisbane Dental Hospital and a Visiting Dental Officer at the Royal Brisbane Hospital, where her experience ranged in multiple disciplines. During her time there, she specialised for 2 years in Endodontics (root canal therapy). Jin also received further training and is a certified provider for Invisalign, Fastbraces and Inman Aligner; as well as dental implants.
Jin went on to the private sector before opening her own practice in 2000. Her time working with, and for, others allowed her the opportunity to refine and discover how she could best provide dental treatment and service.
She has created an environment that is friendly, caring and professional. Her goal has always been to provide a high standard of dental care, while striving to eliminate the fear of dentistry. As such she has surrounded herself with like-minded staff, who also understands that going to the dentist is not most people’s favourite place.
